Description/Rules:  Divided into children, teens and adult divisions by age groups – no horses necessary.  Each contestant will remove his/her boots and place them all in a pile at the far end of the arena, then they will go back to the start line at the near end of the arena.  When the race begins, the contestants must run to the boot pile, find both of their own boots, put them on again and race back to the finish line.  Contestants with one or less of their own boots on their feet, those with one or more of someone else’s boots or those deemed unsportsmanlike will be disqualified.
